Why Did Three Musketeers Flop? Milla Blames SUMMIT

The Three Musketeers flopped this weekend at the box office. Bad. A movie with an 80 million budget only made about 8 million in its opening weekend. But what went wrong? Usually I don?t weigh in on stuff like this, but it really hit home for me. Seeing all of the trailers for the Three Musketeers over the past few weeks got me irritated. My husband and I talked about it ? how many times could a film be remade? After all, this one takes the cake. Were the 1903,1911, 1914, 1916, 1921, 1933, 1939, 1948, 1961, 1969, 1973 and 1993 versions not good enough? I don?t think, for me anyway, you can beat Kiefer Sutherland or Charlie Sheen! Actress Milla Jovovich, who plays Milady, in the film, took to her twitter to blame Summit for the flop. ?I think ?summit? have swept ?3 Musketeers?, a great family adventure film, under the rug in the US?Shame on them.
